Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is prepared to sell Bernardo Silva this summer.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, which are reporting Guardiola has an agreement with Bernardo that he can leave this summer – if he wishes.
Barcelona manager Xavi views Silva as a ‘priority’ signing, should they part ways with Manchester United target Frenkie de Jong.
Despite enjoying his best season for Manchester City to date, it’s said that Silva has a ‘desire to change’ after spending five seasons at the Premier League side.
Silva had been the subject of interest from Barcelona last summer, but the financial situation of the Spanish side made the move impossible.
The report states that Barcelona have made initial contact with City over the 27-year-old, though no formal negotiations or offer have yet taken place.
