Barcelona economic vice-president Eduard Romeu insists they’re not under financial pressure to sell Frenkie de Jong.
With Manchester United keen, where De Jong would be reunited with his former Ajax coach Erik ten Hag, there’s been a suggestion Barca must sell to balance the books.
But Romeu told RAC1: “We have not budgeted for the sale of players.
“Frankie de Jong? If he leaves, it’s a technical decision, not an economic one.
“But I repeat, we have not planned any departure.”
