Chelsea are watching the circumstances surrounding Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich.
The Polish forward has intimated that he would like to leave the club this summer.
Lewandowski has publicly stated he will not be renewing his contract, which expires in a year.
According to Goal.com, Chelsea may be on the hunt for a top class forward if they sell Romelu Lukaku this summer.
And while Barcelona are favourites to secure Lewandowski, they may not be able to complete a deal due to Financial Fair Play rules in La Liga.
That may open the door for Chelsea and other interested parties, as Bayern are likely to cash in on their talisman forward rather than lose him on a free in a year’s time.
