Barcelona coach Xavi has set a comeback date for Ansu Fati.
Xavi confirmed on Saturday that the forward’s sensations are good, that he’s training completely with the group and he will be in the squad on May 1 against Real Mallorca barring any surprises.
“If everything goes well he’ll be there for the next game, against Mallorca. He’s totally with the group. It’s a very positive note for us and he can help us a lot,” said Xavi.
The club and staff are moving carefully and taking no risks, but optimism is increasing from the last few days.
On Gerard Pique, Xavi added: “It’s a shame that [Gerard] Pique has these problems. It will depend on how it goes. It depends on his feelings.
“He’s been like this for two or three months. We’ll manage it”.
