Barcelona defender Eric Garcia says defeat at home to Cadiz wasn’t good enough.
Eric admits the loss is a huge setback for their slim title hopes.
He said, “We started the game well, putting rhythm into it. Then we had the desire to go for the goal and we lost control. In the second-half in a centre they scored the goal. They closed up behind us and we tried to focus a lot with Luuk’s departure. We were screwed.
“When they score a goal against you, you go for a draw and you take the risk of leaving many spaces behind. They have had a couple of chances or three, but so have we.
“We missed getting the ball. The goal was penalised at the beginning of the second half. We have another match on Thursday and another final that will be very difficult. It’s time to recover and focus on the next game (Real Sociedad).”
