Hunter: Historically bad night for Barcelona

Spanish pundit Graham Hunter says Barcelona‘s lack of quality finishing cost them defeat to Europa League opponents Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Germans reached the semifinals after a 3-2 win at the Nou Camp, so progressing 4-3 on aggregate.

Hunter stated: “This will go down as an historically bad night for Barcelona, it’s going to hurt a lot and they’ve lost to the better side but, boy, they’ve had their chances.

“And missed some. Really imprecise in some passing when they let Frankfurt break, and score, will be the key sin – but attitude and chance creation weren’t lacking here.

“Their comeback came far too late.
