Barcelona president Joan Laporta has refused to bite back at Ronald Koeman.
Koeman, sacked earlier this season, has stated he won’t return to the Nou Camp while Laporta remains president.
Laporta said on Sunday: “Ronald Koeman is a Barcelona hero, I remember him at Wembley-92 scoring the goal that won Barca our first European Cup.
“Then I remember him as the first-team coach who had the courage to raise very young players.
“Circumstances meant that he did not continue, I will not dwell on other things.”
