Barcelona are maintaining interest in Chelsea midfielder Saul Niguez.
The Spain international is on a season-long loan at Chelsea from Atletico.
Sport says Barcelona are interested in signing the 27-year-old, with coach Xavi regarding highly Saul’s versatility, who can play both in midfield and on the left wing.
Chelsea carry a permanent option in the loan, but are unlikely to exercise it and will let Saul return to Madrid.
Saul has a contract with Atlético until 2026.
