Barcelona are in pre-contract talks with Chelsea pair Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen.
Azpilicueta and Christensen are both out of contract at Stamford Bridge in June, and will be available for free in the summer unless they agree terms on a new deal.
Meanwhile, Jordi Cruyff, Barcelona‘s international director of football, has revealed that Barcelona have already started identifying transfer targets for the off-season, and the two Chelsea defenders appear to be on their radar.
Sport says Barca want to sign the pair to bolster their defence ahead of the 2022-23 season.
It is understood that a deal for Azpilicueta is close to being agreed, in a move that would see the Chelsea captain join the Spanish club on a three-year contract.
It appears that there is more work to be done to wrap up the signing of Christensen, who has other offers on the table.
However, it has been claimed that he would prefer a move to the Nou Camp, and Barcelona are currently waiting for a response from the 25-year-old to the proposal that they have made to him.
