Barcelona winger Ansu Fati is not in favour of undergoing yet another operation after he picked up an injury during the defeat to Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey in midweek.
The talented 19-year-old injured his hamstring and is expected to be out for two months, but the recovery period could be longer if he has surgery.
Saturday’s meeting
On Saturday, a meeting took place at the Barcelona‘s training ground, where Ansu Fati and his family met doctors and the club’s coaches to discuss the pros and cons of having surgery.
No decision was made on whether Ansu Fati will be operated on.
Barcelona, who believe he should have surgery, expect a final call to be made on Monday, January 24, reports Marca.
