Barcelona midfielder Gavi was taken to hospital during defeat to Real Betis.
Barcelona announced that the midfielder “was taken to a hospital centre following the protocol after the blow he suffered during today’s game”.
Gavi was hit in the face with the ball and then Hector Bellerin‘s leg during the 1-0 home defeat by Real Betis.
The player was visibly dizzy and Xavi and the medical team did not take any risks, subbing him off for Riqui Puig.
Gavi was being examined on Saturday night.
