Barcelona are eyeing a January move for Manchester United veteran Nemanja Matic.
The Daily Star says Matic is the latest name on Barcelona‘s shopping list.
Matic, 33, will have only a year left in his contract at the end of this season and is unlikely to get a new deal.
And that makes him an attractive option for cash-strapped, crisis-torn Barcelona.
The Serbian ace, a £40million buy from Chelsea in 2017, currently earns £140,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
But he would be available for a cut-price fee, and that sort of total package could well be within Barcelona‘s limited financial means.
On top of that Matic’s wealth of experience is something they badly need as they attempt to steady their ship.
