Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is ready to face Leo Messi and PSG tomorrow night.
Guardiola renews his acquaintance with Messi with the Argentine star now wearing the PSG colours after his long spell with Barcelona.
“What he has done in his career is more than exceptional and hopefully tomorrow he can play for the benefit of the game,” said the City boss ahead of their Champions League clash.
“Last season they were a fantastic team and it was a tight game and now they have Messi. They are huge competitors. It’s a new game, it’s the group stage, it’s different. We will see.”
He added: “They have the talent and we have to do it as a team as we can’t put pressure on one player.
“We have to be compact, help each other and know we are going to suffer and have pain, how you handle the pain.
It’s the same in the last game, they are so good, these type of teams, you have to be able to suffer for 90 minutes.”
