Sergi Roberto is ready to sign a new deal with Barcelona.
Marca says Roberto will officially sign his contract extension in the next week.
The agreement between the midfielder and Joan Laporta has already been in place for several days, with only the act of putting pen to paper standing in front of an official announcement.
Jose Maria Orobitg, Roberto’s agent, has been negotiating this extension with the Catalan club for some time, practically since Laporta was elected president.
Initially the idea was to extend for just one season, although that has now been extended to two further seasons with the club.
