Barcelona have a deal on the agenda for RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo.
Mundo Deportivo says Barca made an attempt for Olmo on deadline day on Tuesday – with RB Leipzig granting them permission to speak with the player.
Barca tabled a five-year contract to Olmo’s agents, which he immediately accepted without studying the proposal. The terms were for much less than he enjoys with RBL.
In the end, Barca ran out of time to find an agreement with RBL – though have since thanked Olmo for his commitment.
The former La Masia trainee is ready to return to Barca and the Catalans aim to resume negotiations with RBL closer to Christmas with the aim of signing the Spain international in January.
