Barcelona striker Rey Manaj has signed with Spezia on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
The Albanian striker will bring in a 500,000 euro loan fee, while Spezia will reserve an option to sign him permanently for around 4 million euros.
Manaj, 24, had a number of proposals on the table but has opted to return to Italy, where he previously played for Cremonese, Inter Milan, Pescar and Pisa.
He later spent time in Spain with Granada and Albacete before joining Barcelona‘s B team in 2020.
Ronald Koeman called Manaj up for the first team in preseason and he impressed with a hat-trick against Nastic de Tarragona and a goal against Girona.
