Mundo Deportivo says with the summer market now over, Koeman and Barca are ready to enter talks about a new deal. The coach’s current contract runs to June.
Barca have been in contact with Koeman and his agent for several weeks. Negotiations will now intensify with the market shut.
The new agreement will include clauses regarding titles and also a commitment to Barca’s traditional style of play.
Management will also insist on a commitment to the academy.
