Former Barcelona star Lionel Messi was tempted by offers from Chelsea and Tottenham, it has been revealed.
Messi and Barca announced the superstar’s departure on Sunday after the collapse of new contract talks.
On Tuesday morning it emerged that Leo and his family were on a jet bound for Paris ahead of entering talks with PSG in the afternoon.
Ole says offers from Tottenham and Chelsea were fielded by Messi – which left him impressed.
However, PSG‘s project was the most exciting for the Argentine. The presence of Argentina teammates Angel di Maria and Leandro Paredes were also key as the three families are close.
