Jaume Llopis has questioned whether Barcelona can register summer signing Memphis Depay – despite Leo Messi’s departure.
Llopis, a former member of the Espai Barca comission, is pessimistic about the club’s future.
He’s a professor of business at the Navarra university and says he is very disappointed with president Joan Laporta.
Llopis spoke to Que T’hi Jugues, saying that “we will see on Sunday if Memphis Depay can play because the salary cost is still 95 per cent (of the club’s revenue)”.
In terms of Messi leaving, he said: “There was no real will to negotiate him staying at the club.”
