Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite hopes to see action tonight against preseason opponents RB Salzburg.
After he didn’t come off the bench against Stuttgart, Braithwaite wants to play in this match.
“It’s been good, although obviously I came back later from vacation,” he said of his first week of preseason in an interview with the club’s official media.
“I got to Barcelona and didn’t even open my bag, as I had to leave again direct to Germany.
“It’s been good, getting into the mindset of being back and working out.
“I’m looking forward to the game tomorrow and hopefully getting some minutes there because now I’m feeling ready.
“I’m looking forward to finishing our preparation well and to having a good season.
“It’s going to be a good test. They’ve been playing Champions League the last couple of years and they’re an offensive team who like to pressure high. So, it’s going to be a good game for us.”
