Barcelona whiz Pedri was again the difference for Spain’s 1-1 draw with Japan in their Olympics warm-up game.
Despite only coming off the bench, the Barcelona midfielder starred for his team, providing the assist of the assist for the equalising goal in the 1-1 draw.
The teenager came on in the 67th minute, replacing Dani Ceballos, and managed to get the team ticking after a dull hour from a Spanish perspective.
He had intensity and rhythm to a deflated side. Within ten minutes of coming on, he played in Juan Miranda down the left, who then put it in a good cross for Carlos Soler to bring Spain level.
Pedri was named Young Player of the Tournament at Euro 2020 last week.
