Manchester United are pushing to close a deal for available Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga ahead of growing competition.
Now inside the final year of his Rennes contract, Camavinga will be sold this summer.
United are in contact with Rennes and a first offer has already been tabled and rejected. The Premier League giants are set to try again, though will face competition with Chelsea also keen.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested – and favoured by Camavinga.
However, the Spanish giants do not have the available funds to compete with United in an auction.
