Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has held talks with Barcelona president Joan Laporta about Ronald Koeman‘s situation.
Koeman has a year left on his two-year deal with Barca and will be backed by Laporta for the new season.
TV3 says Laporta has spoken to Guardiola about returning to the Nou Camp, but the Catalan isn’t interested.
Instead, Guardiola has urged Laporta to make a move to bring Luis Enrique back to the club.
The former Barca coach has guided Spain to the quarterfinals of Euro 2020, but Guardiola believes Barca should try to re-sign him if Koeman does not work out.
