Barcelona are lining up a move for Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso.
Alonso’s future at Chelsea is under a cloud, with Ben Chilwell now regarded the club’s first-choice left-back.
Mundo Deportivo says his situation has alerted Barca, which had struck terms with Chelsea in January for Alonso. The two clubs had agreed a loan to June for Alonso before the dismissal of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.
Barca’s interest remains and an offer is now being prepared for the Spaniard.
Alonso is an ex-Real Madrid player, with his father having played for Barca and grandfather also a former Los Merengues player.
