Departing Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum denies he’s joining PSG for money.
It’s been reported Wijnaldum pulled out of talks with Barcelona after fielding an offer from PSG worth double his Reds salary.
The Holland international will join PSG when his deal with Liverpool expires at the end of June.
He said, “I admit that I can make more money at PSG, but this choice was not only a question of money.
“Now … the media writes a lot of numbers (salary), but that’s not true. PSG were simply faster than Barcelona and so I made my choice for PSG.”
