Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has shrugged off Pep Guardiola‘s comments about Neymar this week.
Ahead of their Champions League semifinal meeting with Neymar’s PSG, Manchester City manager Guardiola stated the Brazilian would’ve won “2 or 3 Champions Leagues” if he had stayed with Barca.
Asked about Guardiola’s comments this morning, Koeman said: “It is always important to have the best players in the world on your team.
“They already showed when they were together that they could achieve things but now it is not like that. We work with our players and we have shown that we can fight. You never know if you are going to win if you have the best but the chances are more. For me what happened does not count.”
