LaLiga president Javier Tebas has taken aim at Barcelona and Real Madrid over their Super League commitment.
Both Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Barcelona counterpart Joan Laporta have insisted the Super League must be rescued despite the majority of clubs pulling out this week.
Tebas said, “Florentino and Laporta are unrealistic. The six English clubs and the Germans will never be in this competition. This is not the right way. We obviously have to talk and change things.
“The Super League as they conceived it is dead.
“Laporta would do well to focus on more important issues for FC Barcelona, like the economic problems the club face. Spanish football will not be ruined in 2024. There will not be the disaster that Florentino announces. This is not true.”
