Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen insists their LaLiga hopes aren’t over with defeat to Real Madrid.
The win has seen Real Madrid leapfrog Barça into second place in the table, one point behind Atletico Madrid, who drew at Real Betis on Sunday.
All three teams are separated by just two points with eight games to go in the league this season.
“Difficult night,” Ter Stegen posted on social media. “However, the league is not over by this result. Many matches to go and we will fight until the end.
“Now we must focus on the Copa del Rey final (on Saturday vs. Athletic Club), a big moment for us and our fans. Força Barça.”
