New Barcelona president Joan Laporta plans to make two Bosman signings from Manchester City this summer.
That’s according to local reporter Francesc Aguilar, who has revealed Barca’s financial situation means Laporta will not be able to work the summer market as expected.
Instead, the new president’s front office will push to close an agreement for City defender Eric Garcia as he comes off contract in June.
And senior City teammate Sergio Aguero is also being pursued as Barca seek to secure his agreement to a pre-contract.
Both players will arrive on approval of coach Ronald Koeman.
