Former FC Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner has called for a postponement of the January 24 elections.
Cardoner insists members need better circumstances before voting.
“Yes, absolutely, yes. We are living through an exceptional situation. It’s true that if we were in war, nobody would complain about the postponement. I think that not postponing it would be a lack of respect and attention to the health of our fans,” he told Sport.
“I don’t think any pre-candidate wouldn’t understand that the priority right now is to postpone the elections.
“I’m sure that there will be consensus over this.”
