Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman insists his players don’t require a sports psychologist.
He doesn’t think a shrink is necessary and says the players are the ones that need to step up.
“This team has enough personality and experience,” Koeman said in Saturday’s press conference. “It’s a moment for the experienced players who’ve been here for so many years to step up. The good players always stand up. I hope to see the team fired up against Levante on Sunday.”
The Barça boss reiterated that: “I don’t believe in psychologists and mental [issues]. If you play for Barca, pressure exists, you know that, and you have to overcome it.”
