Liverpool are eyeing free agent Ezequiel Garay.
With Reds boss Jurgen Klopp fighting a defensive injury crisis, the German has admitted he may be forced into the January market for a solution.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Klopp’s search has led to Garay.
The Argentina international is a free agent after being cut loose by Valencia over the summer as he was recovering from a knee injury.
Garay has also been linked with Barcelona, where he’s seen as a stop-gap replacement for the injured Gerard Pique.
