Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta wants to bring Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to the Nou Camp.
That’s according to Okdiario’s chief pundit Eduardo Inda, while speaking on El Chiringuito.
“Of the Barça candidates in the elections that are going to be presented, Laporta is trying so badly, because he still cannot but praise one of the best coaches in the world, which is Jürgen Klopp,” said Inda.
“He is Laporta’s objective.”
Inda says Laporta’s push for Klopp is to counter rival Victor Font and the commitment he has with Xavi, currently coach of Al Sadd in Qatar.
Klopp’s deal with Liverpool runs to 2024 and it isn’t thought to carry a buyout clause.
