Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman concedes the resignation of president Josep Maria Bartomeu casts doubt on his future.
Koeman took the job this season knowing the presidential election would be held next year.
After their Champions League win at Juventus, Koeman remarked: “We have to think about the sports part. With the president’s decision, the team was very good. Hopefully it doesn’t affect us.
“We have to put our energy into playing football. The extra sports things are not in our hands.
“If there is something that changes my situation, they have to speak to me. We want to improve the results and improve our game. We are going to put our energy into that. The extra sports things are not in our hands. We’ll see what happens. I’m not liberated, far from it. Each one has their own thoughts about what happened. What the team has shown today is that it has not affected us. If something affected us, we would not have a game like today.
“There was a lot of movement on this topic. There are many circumstances around which I cannot comment.”
