Lyon coach Rudi Garcia admits there’s every chance Memphis Depay will be leaving for Barcelona today.
Barca boss Ronald Koeman has declared he wants a new “No9” signed before the transfer deadline falls today – and Depay is his favoured option.
Garcia left Depay out of his squad for yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Olympique Marseille, confirming there was an expectation the Holland international would be sold.
“Memphis is out because of his form and also because of what may happen tomorrow (Monday),” he said.
Barca and Lyon are in talks over a fee of €25-30m for Depay.
