Manchester United are turning to Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti this week.
France Football says United ould make a late swoop for Umtiti.
The 26-year-old is up for sale as Barca look to cut down on their wage bill amid ongoing financial concerns.
Umtiti has attracted interest from Arsenal in the past, and could be a solution to United’s problems at the back.
He has also been offered back to Lyon in part-exchange for former United attacker Memphis Depay.
