Kylian Mbappe is prepared to quit PSG next summer.
And the France World Cup winner is plotting a shock move to La Liga or the Premier League.
The revelation could spark a transfer scramble with Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid all in the mix.
The Times says he has informed PSG he wants to play one more season giving them a final opportunity to generate a transfer fee.
Mbappe is thought to have an interest in playing for the Red Devils while previously revealing his admiration for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.
He said in January: “What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing.
“They’re like a machine, they’ve found a rhythm and are like ‘we play again, we play again’.
“When you watch you think everything’s easy, but that’s not easy.
“The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win. To be as ruthless as they have been would come from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager.”
Real Madrid and Barcelona are long-term admirers and were beaten to his signature when he left Monaco in 2017.
