Chelsea are exploring the prospect of signing Getafe fullback Marc Cucurella.
He has only recently signed for Getafe on a permanent basis from Barcelona after the La Liga side triggered a clause in his loan deal.
Cucurella cost Getafe less than £6m and a buy-back option was not included in his deal to join them full-time.
And Chelsea have been impressed by Cucurella, who is now valued at £22m.
The Daily Mail says the Blues would be willing to pay over double that price to prise him away from Getafe ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
Barcelona reserve the right to claim 10 per cent of the transfer fee, meaning Getafe would want to make a healthy profit with any sale.
