Barcelona coach Quique Setien has challenged his players to win the remaining games of their LaLiga campaign.
Setien is calling for his Barcelona players to take the LaLiga Santander title race all the way to the final day.
They’ll need to keep winning and hope that Real Madrid slip up at least once over their next three matches, but Setien hopes to go into the match against Alaves on the final day with a chance of winning the title.
“Real Valladolid are not completely safe from relegation yet and they’ll try to secure survival in this match,” the coach said of this weekend’s opponents.
“So we have to be demanding of ourselves.
“It is possible for us to reach the final round with a chance of winning the title and I hope that’s what we do.
“Lots can happen in football and we’ve all seen inexplicable things over the years.
“We just need to focus on what we can do against Real Valladolid.
“We’re playing well in many ways, but we need to improve and progress.”
