Chelsea made an attempt for Miralem Pjanic before he signed for Barcelona last week, it has been revealed.
The Juventus midfielder will join Barca at the end of this season, with Artur Melo arriving in the opposite.
However, things could’ve been very different with Spanish expert Guillem Balague revealing in Sport: “Juventus had two other offers for Pjanic. Another from Chelsea, with an exchange with Jorginho. And one from PSG, where several players could have entered the operation.
“When Pjanic found out, he said to Juventus, ‘Either I’m staying or I’m going to Barcelona‘.”
