Gerard Deulofeu says he’s happier at Watford than he was with formative club Barelona.
Speaking with Mundo Deportivo, Deulofeu insists he’s happy at Vicarage Road and feels comfortable with the Hornets.
He said, “I have not yet accomplished anything. I have a long way to go. Last year I scored 12 goals and I want to repeat that. I don’t know how much time I have left in the Premier but I am happier at Watford than as a substitute at Barça.
“Of the five teams I have been to, the humblest is where I am most comfortable. I feel important, confident, and almost always play. And my life has changed. It matters little to be in the best club in the world, that if you are not happy it is worth nothing.
“And whoever says the opposite, lies.”
