Manchester United chiefs are convinced they can prise Ansu Fati away from Barcelona this summer.
The Times says United hope to seize an opportunity to prise Ansu from Barcelona.
United reportedly had two bids – the latter worth £90m plus add-ons – knocked back last week, with Barca reluctant to sell.
But this summer’s ‘unique circumstances’ offer United a chance to land Fati.
Barca’s board are pursuing moves for Neymar and Inter’s Lautaro Martinez, pushing the youngster down the pecking order, while president Josep Maria Bartomeu is keen to raise funds for marquee signings ahead of next year’s presidential elections.
