Holland coach Koeman: I know I was lucky

Holland coach Ronald Koeman has spoken of his heart scare earlier this month.

Koeman admits he had a heart problem on May 3, from which he is recovering.

“It was really weird because I had scheduled the check-up because my father had died of a heart attack but because of the corona crisis it was postponed to June 4,” said the Netherlands national team coach in an interview with RTL Beau.

“Now I wonder how many people from whom such an appointment has been postponed are no longer alive. In retrospect, I realise that I was lucky.”
