Everton midfielder Andre Gomes: I’ve been able to learn from Messi and Ronaldo

Everton midfielder Andre Gomes says he’s learned from both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Gomes played with Messi at Barcelona and is also a Portugal teammate of Juventus striker Ronaldo.

He told Sport: “Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo? You must take advantage of both.

“I learned a lot from the two of them, both of whom have brutal talent, but most of all, who have an incredible mentality.

“They always want to win and are angry and upset when they can’t.”
