Barcelona‘s money men have made it clear they need to sell Philippe Coutinho this summer.
On-loan with Bayern Munich this season, the Germans will pass on the option to sign the midfielder permanently.
Returning to the Nou Camp, Marca says Coutinho could leave Barca with a €50m hole in their budget.
The midfielder will be due his €30m salary should he stay next season – and if he makes 24 appearances, former club Liverpool will be due another €20m cash bonus from Coutinho reaching 100 games.
As such, with the player not regarded as a frontliner for Barca coach Quique Setien, the club’s money men are urging them to sell in the coming months.
A return to the Premier League is the most likely option for the Brazil international.
