Barcelona great Andres Iniesta has paid tribute to former coach Tito Vilanova.
Vilanova died aged 45 on April 25, 2014, after a long battle against parotid gland cancer that cut short the life of a coach in his prime.
The Spaniard’s memory lives on at the club where he played an integral part in the most successful era in its history, both as a manager and as an assistant to his good friend Pep Guardiola.
Barcelona posted an emotional picture on their Twitter page with Vilanova on the pitch in front of a banner reading ‘Tito, forever eternal’.
Club legend Andres Iniesta responded to the image with his own tweet which said: ‘Always in our memory’.
Six years without Tito Vilanova.
