Arsenal have joined the battle for Brazilian teenager Gabriel Veron.
ESPN Brasil reports Arsenal have entered the race to sign Veron after seeing Everton‘s bid rejected.
Veron is being watched by the Premier League clubs and Barcelona after breaking into Palmeiras‘ first team, scoring twice in four games.
The Toffees have had a bid worth £13.2 million turned down by the Brazilian club, who are demanding double the fee for their prized starlet, which could price him out of a move to England.
Under EU rules, players from South America cannot be registered until their 18th birthday, which means Veron would have to wait until September to complete his proposed move.
