Braga striker Abel Ruiz has again talked up the chances of teammate Francisco Trincao making it at Barcelona.
The young winger signed for Barca earlier this year and will formally join the Catalans at the end of this season.
Former Barca striker Ruiz has compared Trincao with Leo Messi in the Spanish press and told O Jogo today: “I made this comparison so that people understand that Trincão has a lot of quality, despite being a young man, like me.
“He is a creative player, of excellence. With work, he will achieve his goals.
“It’s incredible to play alongside Messi. It is the best that can happen to any ambitious player. Playing with Messi is always very easy, I had that experience. They will understand each other very well.
“Trincão is a beautiful player: he must adapt well and then take every opportunity, playing smoothly. You must think about the present and be happy. That’s what I do.”
