Barcelona are ready to test the resolve of Manchester City over Aymeric Laporte.
Mundo Deportivo says Barca want to find a new centre-half this summer and have put Laporte high on their agenda.
A bid is being prepared for City’s consideration – though the Catalans know they face an uphill battle to bring the former Athletic Bilbao stopper back to the LaLiga.
Just this week, Laporte said: “I am very happy here at Manchester City.
“I am enjoying my football here.
“We are doing great things here. In the last two years we have won eight trophies.”
