Barcelona are a step closer to clinching a deal for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez ahead of the summer market.
Tuttosport says Barca have already struck personal terms with Martinez’s agent, Beto Yaque, for next season and now must decide whether to negotiate a fee with the Nerazzurri.
Barca can cut Inter out of the deal by simply meeting the €111m buyout clause in Martinez’s contract.
However, the Catalans are prepared to settle on a bigger valuation with Inter – right up to €150m – so long as they can include players in the deal.
Barca would be willing to send a selection of the likes of Arturo Vidal, Carles Alena, Nelson Semedo, Arthur and Jean-Clair Todibo to Inter to drive down the cash component of the transfer.
